Names

Juliet was wrong when she was degrading names. Although she was correct when she said that, if we had different names, we would be the same. But I disagree. Names identify us. They also identify personality traits, character, and habits. Alice's name was perfect for her looking glass character. The name 'Alice' sounds like a jumpy and curious name, and very trusting (believing what she had been taught her whole life was true because someone had told her so).
In the Nez Pierce Indian's time, they would change their name regularly after people they admired in an effort to be more like that person. Can - and do we - do this today, without changing our names? Something to think on.
