Good books.
So the other day, I was reading Hamlet (you know, William Shakespeare's *cough* awesome story about whether life is important or not), and I got to thinking: is there a way people could live without stories? Even in the days without a written language, they would draw stories; and tell stories to younger generations.
So can we live without books? Thomas Jefferson once said, "I cannot live without books." I love that quote so much, because I love books. With a passion. But back to the topic of stories: Was he exaggerating? Or was he speaking literal truth? What do you think? Is there a way to live without stories? Is there a way to exist without happiness? (My basic point is, read a book. AND SMILE!)
Have a smiley day!
